The Studio of Photography was made “the other glance”
The life with other colors

This studio was directed during three days to children with different capacities. It was dictated free by photographer Santiago Cavinato, of Buenos Aires, within theframework of an organized activity in form articulated between the Audio-visualInstitute of Entre Ríos and the Civil Association Photo Paraná Club. The experience marks an important antecedent in the province for projects of this way and was positive in several aspects. Cavinato, that in addition presented its sample Urban Dogmas, told in exclusive right ANALISIS, its history of life. It suffers a paralysis from its birth, that has nevertheless not been obstacle to develop a demanding professional work. Its objective is to try to show to him smallest - than in spite of any physical difficulty everything it is possible.

The Studio “the other glance”, was developed from Friday to last Sunday, in the seat of the Audio-visual Institute of Entre Ríos (IAER). The primary target was to open the photographic world to the participants and to show its creative, cognitivas and stimulating possibilities to them. Of the hand of Santiago Cavinato, a life example, became the transmission of a valuable experience for children.“The first precise experience with the photography was in the secondary school, I have a paralysis that affected all the right part of my body, that was product of a lack of oxygen during the childbirth. Thus, I began with psychologists and therapists who helped me to come out ahead. When I arrived at the primary school I had disadvantages with my companions, by all means, for being different from the others.

But thus and everything was working on a par with them, when I arrived at the secondary one was a subjet that was Photography and that was dictated like labor exit. I chose it to prove since in my family they removed photos and from always it raised to me so that I no. The professor whom he had indicated to me that by the problem of my paralysis he would be difficult to remove photos to me, because the trigger was of the right side, but it made give to return the camera me to be able to work, and thus we were discovering things. In he himself course there was laboratory so i myself I was discovering the photos that were able to do. That was a point that took to me to follow ahead”, explained Cavinato, during a parenthesis in the class of Saturday. “Of in plus the following step it went there to teach to others to remove photos. I am going to say that he is a little difficult. Because so far the experiences are few that I have had. But the idea is to try to transmit what one can do being disabled or with difficulties, being transmitted the message of which they can do it somehow also. The course that I give adapts to the different capacities who have each contender”, added this talented young person of 27 years. This experience already developed in the city of San Nicolás in the province of Buenos Aires altogether with Luciana del Mastro and association to it APAC Coperanza (association specialized in the treatment of learning difficulties).

It cost, I thought to me that it was not going to be able, I was on the verge of leaving, but it arrived the moment at which I discovered that the photography for me is a form to express to me. I was a very timid person, so timid that she could not have made this news article, did not speak nor with my mother, until that point, gave fear me. The photography was the way to approach to me with people. And now that way I do not speak as much but I express myself in images. That was the time in which I worked in the compilation of the material that ended up conforming this sample. The one of San Cayetano was like a way to see the faith of people at a time of total crisis in the country. Now I am working in a new project that is called Buenosairean Skies”, commented the native photographer of Buenos Aires. “This has been an enriching proposal, the presence and the education of Santiago of which in spite of everything photography can be done. A true experience that marks a first time and that encourages to us to follow in this type of projects”, thought Analía Guestrin, photographer pertaining to the Photo Paraná Club, that collaborated with Cavinato in the three days.  “He is that we learned all with this activity, with this interchange, we lived it as a challenge. Within the framework of a positive balance which we do on the activity of the Association, made specific throughout this year”, Graciela Migliavacca, another member of the Photo Club, and daughter of recognized the plastic entrerriano Carlos Migliavacca.“The studio marks the continuity of a line of work from the Audio-visual Institute, that is the social inclusion. The audio-visual production like tool of that inclusion, not like an aim but like means. Although the IAER, like organism of the State, has like specificity the audio-visual accomplishment, is not due to only circumscribe to that, for that reason this other line of work is implemented. And doing it in form articulated with nongovernmental civil organizations, as in this case the Association Photo Paraná Club”, expressed Pablo Feuillade, director of the Audio-visual Institute.“In this sense, we started with the proposal of audio-visual like social inclusion the year last with a studio of qualification in the School Domingo Faustino Sarmiento, of La Paz. That this year is becoming to make in that place, coordinated by one of its professors, Agustín Bruno. And two schools more but in Paraná: Our Mrs. of Guadalupe and Maestro Entrerriano, to which there is to add the studio of Cavinato, of this weekend”, added the director of this organism that depends on the Undersecretary's office of provincial Culture.

First experience

Other histories of life could be discovered thanks to this encounter, not only the one of Cavinato. Oscar Schepens, of 17 years, goes the studios of the School Melvin Jones and to the Private school Young World. Lautaro Cavigioli, is 12 years old and goes to the School San Francisco de Asís.
